About Us

Parents and Citizens Association (GSS P&C) at Graceville State School plays an important role in all aspects of school life and, in partnership with the school, aims to create a sense of community with the families of our students, with teachers, school staff and our extended community members. 

The GSS P&C engages an communicates regularly with parents, students and staff meets regularly throughout the year via meetings, through the fortnightly school newsletter, the P&C Facebook page, through direct email or text message communications and also uses a network of volunteer Class Representatives who are a vital link between the P&C and families.


Membership

Membership is free.

Members must undertake to:
a) promote the interests of and facilitate the development and further improvement of the School and the good order and management of the School; and
b) comply with the Constitution of the P&C Association, including the P&C Association Code of Conduct as specified in Schedule 2 of the Constitution, and any valid resolutions passed by the Association.

If a person has been convicted of an indictable offence, it is grounds for removal in accordance with the Education (General Provision) Act 2006.
